With three and a half decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Scott has spent the past 25 years with KSL. During his tenure, he has led a talented team in envisioning, developing, and monetizing many of the most iconic resorts, hotels, and clubs in the US. Never afraid to tackle the more complicated, he is proud of the KSL team for their granular and best practice approach to creating value and unique experiences.
A co-founder of KSL Resorts in 2004, Scott currently serves as Senior Advisor to the company. He also serves as Executive Chairman of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts – a Hawaii based global hospitality company, having previously served as their interim CEO post-acquisition.
Scott’s passion for hospitality doesn’t end with his role at KSL Resorts. His family is his priority, and he and his wife of 30 years along with their wonderful children recently launched a boutique wine brand, a perfect complement to their regular gatherings with family and friends. He is also an avid mountain biker and a two-time finisher of the Leadville 100 MTB endurance race. Maintaining his diverse schedule is made a bit easier given he holds an active commercial pilot rating.
