More About Sara Harper

Sara is keenly focused on superior commercial results – leveraging best in class marketing practices and strategic branding initiatives. With three decades of global hospitality experience, she is well equipped to support resort teams with the development and execution of brand development, demand generation, communications, research, e-commerce, guest experience and overall revenue optimization.

In addition to her hands-on leadership style and razor-sharp commercial strategy abilities, she is highly skilled at developing innovative campaigns and customer experiences, utilizing knowledge gleaned from a diversity of industry positions. She launched her career with San Diego’s largest public relations agency and then joined Loews Hotels, where she worked her way up the ranks to a regional role. Her work for KSL Resorts began in 2005 as director of marketing for La Quinta Resort & Club and then as marketing acquisition manager for Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. Honing her marketing skills, she spent three years in Sydney, Australia, as managing director of the guerilla marketing agency, Notorious. She later rejoined KSL Resorts as director of marketing for Hotel del Coronado, overseeing its transition to Hilton’s Curio Collection.

An adept collaborator and problem solver, she is exceptionally skilled at identifying areas of opportunity and mobilizing teams and resources to create solutions.

In her off time, she enjoys hiking, cooking and exploring new travel destinations and yoga retreats.
