More About Michael Palmeri

Michael leads KSL Resorts’ investment and business development division – growing and diversifying the owned real estate portfolio through acquisition and co-investment, while concurrently building upon the company’s property management and asset management platforms. As an ambassador of KSL Resorts and affiliate companies, Michael manages and collaborates with a broad network of internal and external investment and operating partners, buyers and sellers, advisors, brokers, and industry experts. He also plays an active role in the talent development and strategic direction of the organization.

Born in San Diego to a Brooklyn father and a Californian mother, Michael proudly carries both the tenacity of a New Yorker and the casual nature of a west coast local. That duality of personality brings a great energy and has served him well in his career. With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Michael has held senior leadership roles directing investments and management for Loews Hotels, Chartres Lodging Group and Abacus Lodging Investors. And though he occasionally takes some good-natured flak from colleagues, Michael humbly represents Cornell University.

Outside of the office, Michael makes a point to put his cellphone down and enjoy time with his family. He loves snowboarding, camping, biking, a peaty scotch, live music, and the Chargers – wherever their hometown may be.
