Known for his analytical and data driven approach, Rudy Benavides is KSL Resort’s corporate director of revenue optimization – developing, implementing and stewarding all revenue and distribution strategies for the company. In this capacity, he is charged with oversight of revenue management strategies, activities and processes for every KSL Resorts asset and is accountable for all pricing, forecasting, business evaluation, reporting and inventory management. Additionally, he oversees all processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting, business strategy, day-by-day budgeting and opportunity analysis – interfacing with property level executive leadership to develop, recommend and maintain optimal sales strategies. He is especially adept at adding value by implementing effective commercial strategies and collaborating with top level industry talent.
With more than 25 years of sales and revenue optimization/management experience, he has worked in high level positions for independent boutique hotels in Manhattan along with luxury destinations in California, including The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara and The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Coast. In his off time – when he’s not busy running after his three year old! – he participates in an occasional triathlon.
